Can I bring my stroller/baby/dog/pet parrot?

The course is not a super wide path.  We want to keep things spacious for all you runners, so please no strollers or dogs.

Where should I park?

First off, don’t forget to carpool!  Now, there are plenty of options for parking.  Click here for a map of parking areas.  Besides the highlighted areas, there is free on-street parking in downtown Woodinville, which is a short walk away.

Do I have to be dressed like a pirate to participate?

No. But we can’t guARRGHantee that you won’t be out of place without one.

Do the 5k runners receive a medal and the running top?

You betchum red rider.  All participants will receive a finisher’s medal and the Captain Jack’s Treasure Run shirt.  Everybody!

Are there restrooms along the course?

Yes, there are restrooms as soon as you get onto the Sammamish River Trail at about .75 miles.  You will pass them again at mile 2.75.

How do I switch distances?

Up until October 25th, you can switch online, just click here to do so.  On or after October 25th, you will need to do so in person at packet pickup or on race day. Please note that there is a $5 charge to switch distances.

Is it okay to walk the 5k or 8k?

As long as you walk…the plank!  ahahahaha.  Yes, walkers are totally welcome. We just ask that you start towards the rear of the group so that no over-eager runners trample you under foot.

What kind of food will you have at the aid station?

We will have Clif Shot Gels, electrolyte drink, water, and hardtack.  The aid station will only be passed by 8k participants.

Clif Bar is the official nutrition sponsor of Captain Jack’s Treasure Run!

What is your refund policy? Can I transfer my entry to someone else?

Please review the Orca Running refund policies by clicking here.  For Captain Jack’s, you can transfer your entry to another person for a $10 charge and can be done online.  Click here to do so.

What does this race benefit?

We will be donating a small portion of every entry fee to Hopelink.

Can I see a map of the course?
